5. The source of morality is social and political: the traditions and laws of a particular society or international agrements that override them.
I feel that morality and the concept of morality comes from all of the laws human kind has created. Without those laws we would behave in a savage and creaazy way. crazier than how we behave now. Thanks to laws and reglamentation, we have learned (most of us) how to live in a peacefull and equal way. Those rules that have been implemented work as a standard model that help society coexist. We know that if we kill we can go to jail. That if we walk around naked in the street we can probably get raped or get fined. So all of this rules have help people to behave in a certain way. They have been the ones who have decided whats right and whats wrong. With no laws many more injustice and corruption would be seen. People doing whatever they want like crazy animals, murders and other horrible savage things would happen if there were no moral standards and rules to follo. Im not sayng that we are evil people, eve nthough we kind of are, but imagine a kid growing up under no rules and seeing others live that crazy life, they would think it is fine and normal and therefore they will keep on the pattern. In the other hand if lil kids grow up under passive and relatively normal conditions and activities they will have an idea of how to live in a chill way and behave properly. All the morals and the morality we think we have has been set by what other people think is right and wrong. Moralties origin is from laws and traditions and not from what the person feels inside because what that person feels is based on what he or she has seen and experienced.

Rape
Rape is immoral bc one person is using another person against their will.
Ok i chose this argument because i feel it states in a non personal way the whole morality against raping. i feel that the whole idea of raping is disgusting and terrible. I have seen so many documentaries and tv series that show raping scenes and i hate it. How can someone be so mentally ill to rape another human being. i just cant imagine how horrible it would feel to make you do something you dont want to or you have never done and just forcing you to do it. as a woman, when i hear stories about other girls that have been raped by guys makes me so mad because thanks to that man that poor girl can have since a young age a disease. plus they get traumatized and afraid of the world. and the worst part is that there are girls that also abuse of other girls and boys. i think that the worst part is when someone from your own family rapes you. how sick is that?!!??! unbelievable. forcing a kid or a teenager or even a grown up women or man to do something they want to is inmoral in every sense. They use them against their will just to feel pleasure and power yet they dont realize that they have ruined their life, especially if you were a virgin. I think that not only the idea od being rape is inmoral but everything they force you to do against your will. I go to the Hogarcito every thursday. this is a place were they take care of kids that have been treated in horrible ways by their parents. and there is one girl who is now 7 years old who was raped and physically abused when she was even younger and i felt so mad and seriosuly wanted to look for the person who did it and kill him. how can someone do that to a lil girl who is super inocent and who is just starting to live her life. the hole concept for me is inadequate and thats why i feel that this statement is good. because it is not personal and by forcing someone to do something agaist their will is abusing of him or her and if it is in a sexual way it is called raping.

Mathematic's
Is Mathematics discovered or invented?
Discovered is defined as: to notice or learn, especially by making an effort. For example: I discovered that i left my pencil under the bed because i went and looked for it.
Invented is defined as: to produce (something previously unknown) by the use of imagination. For example: The telephone was invented in ..... It was something that came from the imagination or the ingenious.
Well. I think this is like the paradox of who came first the chicken or the egg??
"The whole concept of mathematics was developed"- Mr. Johan.
I feel that someone had to invent/ make up universal symbols for numbers so that society could have a general way of communicating. I think that maybe it all started with people counting with their fingers and making signs to communicate how many cows, or chickens they had... but once they had already used up all of their fingers they had to establish another way of counting, like sticks, or rocks... So this is why they invented symbols like 2- for two, which represents 2 objects or 2 animals/ sometihng... i dont know if u get what i mean.... like the twoness of things... what mr.david said.
I think that mathematics is still being discovered. For example, whenever we look at something new in math class, im discovering and learning new material, answers and techniques because of the effort I put into it. I cannot invent anything when im doing problems or equations because if not my answer will be wrong, but i can assume things to get my answer .
When you discover something, it already existed buy when u invent something it is new and came from ur imagination. So i think the symbols we gave to math were invented just to establish a standard language for math.
Im a little confused, because the more i think about it the more i feel that mathematics was both invented and discovered.

History Paragraph.
- Option C
- 'The study of history is so important that it should be a compulsory IB subject.' To what extent do you think this is true?
- Attempt to Answer:
- I never liked history very much. I didnt like history in spanish nor history in 10th grade. It was not about the teachers, i just dont like memorizing old information that for some reason it will help me in my future... are you kidding? Its nice to know about historical facts, but the cool ones like about Hitler or... hitler... or about the world wars and things like that. But instead of reading them from books that look sooooo boring why not watch the movies and if there is something very important that the movie doesnt show than the teacher can make a quick pause and let us know.
- If history was mandatory for IB, i would have probably cried but at the end of the day i would have just go with it cause i cant do anything to change it. I dont necessarily think that it is important. Even though it is common knowledge or as we say it in spanish : cultura general. it is still information that it is very subjective and unreliable unlike math were we know that 2+2 is 4, in history the information is changed and picked and altered hence how do we even know that what we are learning is even true???
- i desagree with that statement. the only reason i would agree is if history classes were taught by watching movies instead of reading books.

Essay.
- General Question:
- When should we trust our senses to give us truth?
- Knowledge Issue:
- To what extent do reason, emotion and language affect our sense perception?
- Main Points:
- Language: If im reading a poem and i dont know half of the words in it it can hinder the way I feel towards that poem, if i like it or not or if i understand it or not.
- Emotion: It can affect our sense perseption depending on how we are feeling. For example, I love ice cream but maybe one day my dog dies and i eat ice cream but it doesnt taste as delicious as it did before because of how sad im feeling. Another example, your mom makes dog meat for dinner and because you love dogs you wouldnt think they are made to be eaten therefore you inmediatly categorize dog meat as disgusting because of the way you feel towards dogs and maybe it is the best meat ever but you wouldnt know bc you got tricked by your emotions
- Reason: Reason can change the way you receive information. For example, if i read a poem and i dont know the meaning of half of the words in it that would probably affect the way i feel towards the poem, if i like it or not, if i understood it or not....
- Contraargument:
- Reason is the only one of the 3 that is not going to affect your sense perseption.

Language.
Greetings to all my bloggie followers. Once again I have to write about language. You may wonder what is Language right? so thats why Im going to give you the definition of Language from www.dictionary.com , language is: a body of words and the systems for their use common to a people who are of the same community or nation, the same geographical area, or the same cultural tradition. I think that language is the easiest way to communicate among human beings but not the only way. Language changes depending on the circumstance you are in, the place and the people you are sorrounded by. For example, terms, focuses and vocabulary in geography are going to differ from history; maybe the way you talk and express an idea of yours is the same but the vocabulary you use is going to be very different. Another way of communicating is by using our body, i think you call that Corporal Language. Most of the time we communicate using our body, our hands, our eyes, our facial expressions, using our legs etc. but the problem is that we often use our body to communicate something together with our voice. But when we dont use our voice it usually happens when we are in the middle of an exam and we dont know the answer to a question therefore we have to communicate using our corporal language so we use signs, we use our fingers, we make faces, we get desperate, we pass notes on our liquid paper but still, the other person doesnt get it. And you actually get frustrated cuz you cant talk but you desperately need the answer to that question, but you cant because you cant talk, you cant use words, you cant make a sentence out loud. But so finally when that person gets what you are trying to say, the next day you find out you marked the wrong answer... GREAT! so much work using your body instead of just whispering cuz he was sitting next to you. Thats why i always say that speaking and using words, sentences, verbal language is the easiest way to comprehend your partner maybe not the best way and obviously not the only way but yes the easiest.
